Safeguarding Audits
Our highly specialised team, including our expert subject specialist (RLB) will provide you with invaluable insights into the current effectiveness of your safeguarding arrangements. Our highly specialised team of Ofsted-trained inspectors is under-pinned by the services of Rachael Bishop. With over 18 years of experience in delivering, managing and governing services for vulnerable children and adults. Rachael is highly-qualified and experienced in designing and reviewing policies for safeguarding and related topics across a broad range of settings.
How it works:
We offer two tiers of audit arising from our professional experiences, inspection practice and analysis of published Ofsted inspection reports.
Tier 1 - Includes
- A review of all associatesd safeguarding arrangements, related policies and procedures, documentation, data, and action plans/risk assessments.
- A series of focused interviews wit the DSL/appropriate staff members.
- A series of focused interviews with learners and employers if agreed
- Recommendations report an feedback handover.
Tier 2 - Includes
- A review of all associated safeguarding arrangements, related policies and procedures, documentation, data, and action plans/risk assessments.
- A deep dive into safeguarding and prevent aspects of the learner journey and teaching and learning.
- A series of focused interviews with the DSL, appropriate staff members, learners, stakeholders, Governors, SMT and employers.
- A full strategic audit tool completed in partnership with the Designated Safeguarding lead.
- Coaching and mentoring for the DSL and audit template for the DSL to continue the audit cycle on a 6-month basis.
- Access to templates and resources. Recommendations report and feedback handover.
