Best practice encourages governance to take an active role in quality assurance. Leaders should assign a small number of learners to each governor. Each governor should contact their learners and ask their assigned questions, then record the responses. This will help governors stay better informed about learners' progress and any barriers they encounter. Ideally, don't ask all ten questions at once, but agree with leaders on the focus.
