At FIN, we bring deep expertise from the Further Education and Skills sector, where nominee roles are well-established and strategically supported. Drawing on this experience, we’re proud to offer specialist support for school nominees, helping them prepare confidently for this pivotal role.

Being selected as a school nominee during inspection is a significant responsibility, and a powerful opportunity.

The nominee is the key liaison between the inspection team and the school. With the right preparation, nominees can:

We are preparing to launch a School Associate Membership, designed to equip schools with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to implement and maximise the nominee role. Drawing on our extensive experience in the FE and Skills sector, our offer will include:

Guidance through an on-demand webinar to help schools identify the most suitable nominee, aligned with inspection expectations and school priorities

Termly sector Update Webinars – Regular briefings to keep nominees informed of key developments, strategic communication, and professional confidence, and evolving expectation

Professional Collaboration Opportunities – Facilitated spaces for nominees to connect, share experiences, and learn from peers across the sector
